In less than two weeks, the MicroArts Creative team will be heading to sunny Jamaica for a company retreat. The experience will make us a tighter, and more effective team.

How do you know you are working for a great company?

On a regular basis we’re able to produce a furrowed-brow look of awe when we tell friends and family of our office culture …

• In the summer, our office has a standing date on Friday mornings to go surfing.
• During the ice storm of 2008, we went go kart racing at F1 in Boston.
• Our office photo shoot was on a deep sea fishing excursion.
• We plan annual day hikes to recharge.

Peter Getman, our Principal Brand Director, gets it. Giving employees time off to relax reduces stress. Not only are we grateful for his commitment to us … but we are able to give back more to the team.
